BIO

Britt Hunter is a former Duke and UConn Basketball player (‘04-‘08) and has since had a myriad of roles since her graduation. After suffering a career ending injury her freshman year Britt had to find a new purpose and she found her interests were tied to advocating for others. That passion led her to coming back to UConn to pursue a Master’s Degree while working for Husky Sport, a non-profit that curated a space for UConn student athletes to give back in the Hartford community by mentoring underserved children of color. That experience propelled Britt into the world of education where she served as a 4th grade teacher, Dean of Students and Vice Principal in a Harlem Charter School. After 7 years of servant leadership, Britt decided to pivot her career and pursued an MBA at Vanderbilt University. Upon graduation in 2020, Britt landed a role at Microsoft, originally in HR and has since transitioned into Business Operations supporting the cloud business. More recently Britt has decided to take her talents into the public speaking sphere where she speaks to individuals seeking to pivot in their careers, land in their purpose and secure a growth mindset.
